Registering as a Library User
The Library is available to any attorney member of the Oregon State Bar Consumer Law Section. All users must have a completed and signed User Agreement Form on file with the librarian. To use the library, contact the librarian to obtain a copy of the form. Materials will only be shipped after the librarian has received a completed lending library User Agreement from you.
Requesting Materials
The Consumer Law Section maintains a library of the National Consumer Law Center’s consumer law manuals and companion CD-ROMs. These items are available for free loan to all Section members (except for the cost of return postage). The library currently houses the titles described in this document. The section librarian will, from to time time, update this list as the library grows.
To borrow materials, contact the Section librarian, Josh Ross, at 503-227-1600 or JROSS@STOLLBERNE.COM.
Items will be shipped book rate via US mail. Other shipping options are available if expedited delivery is needed. All users are limited to a total of two items at loan at one time. Items are loaned for 21 days, and can be renewed if no one has placed a hold on the item.
Returning Items and Lost/Damaged Materials
Library users are responsible for shipping materials back to the library by the due date. Any item not received within five days of its due date will be considered overdue. Users will be held responsible for the current replacement cost, plus shipping and handling, of any materials not returned, or returned damaged.
